MU Tailgate!

Back on October 6, we packed up in the old MV for our annual Mizzou Tailgate!  We were getting a little nervous about the weather forecast, but that never stops us. We just packed extra layers and headed on down. Since I started at Mizzou in 1999, my family has tailgated every year. It's a really fun tradition that I'm really happy I get to pass on to my kids too. It sure was freezing...but that didn't seem to stop the kids. We had great food...and drinks of course and I stayed bundled in the Quest with little Gwen. Hopefully she'll get to enjoy the tailgate more next year!

And we couldn't let the month go by without wishing a special little lady a HAPPY 4 MONTH BIRTHDAY!!  How on earth is she already 4 months!!

So that pretty much sums up our September!  Now on to fall, pumpkins, halloween, and all things October!

August!

Wow...I can't believe how fast the last 3 months have gone! We had such a busy summer, and August was no exception. I'll just show you our August in pics! Then I think I will finally be caught up on these posts!!

First we celebrated a 2 month birthday in our household!

 Next up, we had new family pictures taken. I finally got some pictures of little miss Gwen up on the wall! Most of them turned out pretty good...just wanted to make sure I got a good one of the three of them. Apparently if you talk about "hippopotamus poop", we're good.

We had an "iPhone Silly Face Contest" with my parents while they were on vacation...

We said goodbye to Grady's best Roehr's Rascal...Ellie-bee :(  She moved on to bigger and better things...preschool.

We had LOTS of fun playdates...I had to soak up my last bit of maternity leave :)

Right before I went back, we had a special "Grady day" and took him to the Cards game!

And finally...I'll end this post with the beautiful flowers I got for my first day back at work. Made the day a little more manageable :)

July!!

Still trying to get caught up on these posts!  We were VERY busy in July...as usual :) We celebrated birthdays, a baptism, & of course the 4th of July! All the celebrating sure did make the month fly by, but its always on of my favs! Especially this year since I was on maternity leave :)


First, we celebrated Gwen's 1 month birthday!

Next up on the calendar, we celebrated the oldest sister in the family's 4th birthday!!  On her actual birthday, July 13, we took her to a store that I feel may have been named after her...Sweet & Sassy :)  She had a blast getting her nails, hair, and makeup done!  We of course started out the morning with "balls of poop" (aka donut drive-in)...and ended at her fav restaurant...Chris's pancake house!

Next up on our calendar for July was the baptism of little Miss Gwen. With Mary being the Godmother...and living in KC, we were limited to a small window to get this gal baptized. It worked out perfect on July 15...my 31st bday :) We had the baptism at 2pm at St. Clement with a reception following at Nonna and Grandpa's. It turned out to be a great day! Gwen wore the same gown that the other two have worn, so now all I need to do is get their initials monogrammed in it...and the dates they were baptized.

After we settled down from the baptism party...we continued the celebration of our 4 year old with a "friends" party at Des Peres park. The weather ended being fairly nice...at least it wasn't 107! I think fun was had by all!  Unfortunately, I did a really bad job at taking pics, but here is what we caught of the festivities...

Finally...finally, and in no particular order here...we celebrated the 4th of July this month! Of course we hit up the annual Peterson 4th of July Party. Of course, it did not disappoint.

On the actual 4th of July, we hit up the Johnson's pool and visited my friend Kelly while she was in town.
