LOTS to catch up on...

We have been very busy in the Patterson household and have lots to catch you up on! First things first...Memorial Day! We had a great time getting in lots of swimming time at Gigi, Pops, and Grandma's house! We soaked up the rays on Sunday and Monday. We also made it to the zoo and had some backyard fun as well. Got to take advantage of "Mommy stay-home Days" as Gretchen calls them....break my heart...wish I had more of them :(

Next up...Gretchen's last Little Gym class of the season! She loved it, but can't say she learned too much. She not-listened to the teacher as much the last class as she did the first class :) But she definitely looked forward to it each week. Especially since her best-neighbor pal was in the class too!! Ava and Gretch had a great time playing together :)

And last but certainly not least...our road trip to KC! We actually went for a friends wedding (which was AWESOME), but also ended up visiting old friends and Dan's sister Mary! So it was weekend packed with fun. Unfortunately I didn't bring my "mom" purse, so I couldn't fit my camera and have no pics from the wedding. However, I did manage to haul it out for some of our other outings. We left early Friday morning so we could get there for lunch. Dan was dying to go to Oklahoma Joe's famous BBQ for lunch. So Mary was nice enough to meet us there as we rolled into town! (Oh and forgot to mention we bought a DVD player for the car for all our road trips this summer...best $100 I ever spent :))
After some time at Mary's pool and some naps, we headed to the Bohnen's for a BBQ! Katie due in about a month with baby Tommy and we were soooo happy we got to hang out with them and see all of his baby stuff! She is looking great! I'm hoping my kids didn't totally freak her out :( They were a bit on the wild side :)

Then Saturday morning we woke up bright and early, got ready, and headed out for a girls day of getting our nails done. Grady, Dan and Adam headed to Adam's house to be men...and then we all met for lunch before the wedding. Mary and Adam babysat for us which we cannot thank them enough for! I know my babies had SUCH a great time with them!

On Sunday we stopped by Mizzou to take Mares out to lunch. We discovered that Grady has the same obsession with ranch that all his Adcock family has! (sorry megpetes!)

And that my friends is all! I need to start updating more often so these posts aren't so long! We have lots of fun summer plans ahead, so I'm sure I'll have lots to write about and take pictures of! Have a great week!

15 Months!!

It's hard to believe my little baby boy is already 15 months old! Went to the doctor yesterday and he is weighing in at 25 lbs, and in the 50th percentile. He is 33 inches, in the 95th percentile and his head circumference is in the 95th percentile as well! Guess he needs to be tall with that big ole head! We love you Grady boo!!

Indy!

Last weekend Gretch and I left Grady at home with Gigi and Pops and headed to Indy with Daddy for his lacrosse tournament. We tagged along with Mandy & Abby, and Lisa and Brynlee. We had such a good time!! We hit up the famous Children's Museum...it was amazing! We loved it! I think we'll need to make a trip back to show Grady :)

We had such a good girls trip! But we sure missed our Grady boo! He'll have to join us next time!

Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter this year! Despite the weather, we got in some great egg hunts, ate lots of candy, and visited with lots of family! We started the morning out finding out Easter baskets that the bunny had hidden! Good thing he didn't make them too hard to find! The bunny was really nice and left Gretch and Grady new swim suits and towels so they are all ready for the beach this summer!

After we ate some breakfast...and of course a little bit of candy, we headed out the door for Church.
After we mass, we headed over to Nonna and Grandpa's house (aka my in-laws) to attempt naps and wait for all the guests to arrive. We quickly realized naps were out of the question at this point, so we just played and played. And luckily the Easter Bunny had come here too! More candy :)

Our newest little cousin came to celebrate his very first Easter! You are such a good boy Mikey! (Can you tell someone has baby fever!?!?)
And believe it or not, the Easter bunny also stopped at Gigi and Pops house (aka my parents). What a night that bunny must have had :) Grady tried his first ever ribs! This is an Adcock tradition and luckily...he LOVED them!

Mariette surprised us all by coming in town! Gretch was sooooo excited! And you may notice a costume change...this was the beautiful dress Aunt Leslie gave her :) Of course she had to put it on right away!

I just had to get a picture of Grady's "white" outfit by the end of the day. I mean who puts a white outfit on their one year old boy anyway??
All in all, we had a great Easter! Hope everyone else did too!

My babies are growing up way too fast!! Next up...Easter :) Have a very happy Easter everyone! (I think maybe 2 pple read this :))
