Pumpkin Patch!

This weekend we packed up our red wagon and headed to Rombach's Pumpkin Farm! It was such a nice day, so we took advantage and really took our time picking out the right pumpkins. Gretchen is just not into staying still for pictures anymore, so we did the best we could. Can't wait to carve them!

Just couldn't keep these pics to myself! We ventured down to MU for our annual tailgate and decided to bring the G's along for the ride! It was quite the adventure :)





It was a complete success! They had a blast and completely wore us all out. And, as you can tell, we went a little crazy at the bookstore this year...oops!

Happy 30th Danny Boy!

So I figured this one deserved its very own post! Dan turned 30 in September, September 23 to be exact, and I surprised him with a suite at the Cards game. I was really sneaky and did it a week before the actual day, on September 17. (His actual bday was the rehearsal dinner) After a few major hiccups with the box office...it was a HUGE success! He had absolutely no clue! I had a lot of close friends and family there to help me surprise him!


As you can tell, he had a bit of a good time! Here's to 30 more!

I'm back...again!

So once again, it has been quite a while! I have not been the best at blogging, but really like the idea of my kids being able to read this when they get older, so here goes another try! A lot has happened since June! So let me try to catch you up...quick version :)

In July, Grady started eating baby food, we celebrated 4th of July with Ellie, celebrated Gretchen's 2nd birthday, celebrated Mariette's 21st birthday, and Cynthia's bachelorette party in Vegas. Here is that busy month in pics!

Then we moved into August. This month we did lots of fun things! Including celebrating Ellie's 1st Birthday!

We also celebrated the Neihoff nuptials (no pics) and Grady turning 6 months!

And of course, in September, I got a new sista! We had many events leading up to September 24, 2010, and I tried to keep track of them all!

And last but not least...our little Grady-finally got some professional pics taken! He was a VERY smiley guy and cooperated perfectly! His older sister was a different story...LOL!

Lots to catch up on...

OK, so I am not going to win any blogging awards...I get busy and forget to update! But here are the last few weeks in review...we have been VERY busy!!

At the beginning of the month, Dan and I road-tripped it down to Gulf Shore, AL so see one of my good college friends, Katie Dillingham, become Katie Haug. We had a BLAST! Everything was perfect...especially the bride and groom! Here are some highlights from that trip!

My little babies are getting so big and have grown so much in the past few weeks! Gretchen is literally talking if full sentences now! It is so strange to here her come up to me and say "Mommy took a shower. Now mommy is all clean." Guess she doesn't like when I am dirty...lol! She is going to be 2 next month!! So we planning her party as we speak! I bet it will be a scorcher! Grady is 4 1/2 months now and growing like CRAZY! He is seriously huge! His newest tricks include rolling over, both ways, talking up a storm, and eating 8 oz. bottles! He is such a happy baby, we just love being around him. Gretch is definitely loving him too! Sometimes a little too hard, but we are working on that! Here are some pics of the fam...
