Grady is ONE!!

Well this post is long over due! We have had a hectic couple of weeks with all the bday celebrations, illnesses, and day to day craziness that seems to arise. We had a great time celebrating Grady's 1st birthday! Party #1 was at Gymboree with all of his friends! We had such a great time. We played, sang songs, climbed, ate pizza & cupcakes...boy were we tired at the end! Grady is so close to walking at this point, but at his party, he was the only little guy not walking yet. He just seems to think "you know what, they want me to walk, so I think I'll just crawl". He'll be running around just as soon as he wants too :)

Party #2 was on his actual bday...February 9! It was a Wednesday this year and Dan & I both took the day off to celebrate with our little buddy. We started out the morning with French Toast Bake (thank you Kristen Reid :))...just imagine a cinnamon roll casserole. We were in heaven. We then got everyone ready (only took us about three hours...can't seem to figure out how to get every ready and out of the house quickly yet), and headed to the City Museum. Grady loved it...but mainly just because he could stare and people and touch things. I think the real lovers of this museum were Gretchen and Dan. They were literally climbing on anything they could find. I'm such a nervous nelly everything makes me nervous. Its a good thing Gretchen has a daddy who will do all that stuff with her. We are definitely going back when the weather is warm out! After that we headed to Crown Candy for some lunch. That place is so fun! We ate grilled cheese and had ice cream! I highly recommend that place!

The third and final party was a family party at Gigi and Pops house. We just turned our normal Sunday night dinner into a party by adding some cake and presents! Grady was just starting to get sick (he now has RSV :()...so he was a little out of it, but still had a great time. We just can't believe our little guy is already a year old!

As you can see...we have been BUSY! What a fun week of celebrations it was. I still can't believe my baby is one! We love you Grady-boo!!
